Sixth CME of Haryana chapter of IFS on ‘updates in infertility’ conducted on 23rd nov. 2019 at hotel ramada, Gurgaon.It was well attended by 62 gynecologists and infertility specialist. We had international speaker Dr Ulrich Goering from Germany and National faculty Dr Alka Kriplani & Dr Shweta Mittal. CME started with mesmerizing talk on recurrent implantation failure by Dr Ulrich Goering with all recent update. Dr Neeru thakral moderated quite interactive panel discussion on Endometriosis-medical/endoscopy/IVF with expert Dr alka kriplani and learned panelist Dr Kiran Arora from Artimis Hospital, Dr Beena Muktesh & Dr Shalu Gupta from Cloudnine Hospital, Dr Suman Lal from Max Hospital Dr Reeta Darbari & Dr Divya Sardana. Lastly Dr shweta mittal talk on male infertility – what a gynecologist should know was superb and liked by one and all. Academic feast was nicely arranged and appreciated by one and all.

This is to bring to your kind information that we had recently organised a CME under the banner of IFS Rajasthan Chapter on ‘Male Infertility and DNA Fragmentation Index’ on 10 th August 2019.
There were two talks
The first was on ‘Overview on Male Infertility : from guidelines to clinical practice’, given by Dr Suchika Mangal from Jaipur.
The Guest Speaker was Dr Sayali Kandari from Mumbai. She presented her original research paper, recently presented in ESHRE 2019, and spoke on DFI. Her talk was : ‘First Clinical Study of India on the effect of Medical Therapy on Sperm DNA Fragmentation and Improved Clinical Pregnancy Rates.’
It was attended by about 30 Gynaecologists and Embryologists. The aim was to increase the awareness on Male Infertility, guidelines about its management and more specifically the role of sperm DNA Fragmentation in Reproductive outcomes
It was well appreciated and attended by about 50 gynaecologists and Embryologists.
There were talks on ‘Setting up an IUI lab, Setting up an IVF lab, ICMR Guidelines,and QC and QA.’
This was followed by a panel discussion on ‘Trouble Shooting in IVF lab : Different Case Scenarios’ moderated by myself (Dr Sangita Sharma).
Dr Neeru Thakral and Dr Ila Gupta were guest faculty from Gurgaon and Dr Sanjay Makwana was also a Senior faculty from Jodhpur.
The hard copy of the modules were also distributed to 50 delegates.
The topic was : ‘Recent Updates in Management of PCOS’
This is to bring to your kind information that we had organised a small focussed CME ( rather RTM) in a City called Jhujhunu in Rajasthan on 16 th May 2019. The purpose was to create awareness about the prevalence and clinical and metabolic implications of PCOS, both in adults and adolescents.
It was attended by about 20 gynaecologists from Jhujhunu and adjoining places like Chirawa and Pilani. It seemed to be very fruitful and was a very interactive session, the discussion and Q & A session continued till 10 pm.
This is to bring to your kind information that a free Consultation Camp and a talk on ‘General Awareness on Infertility’ was Organised on 16 th May 2019 in the City of Jhujhunu in Rajasthan.
IFS Haryana Chapter First Annual Conference Superbly arranged on 19th May at Hotel Leela Ambince by Organizing Chairperson Dr. Neeru Thakral & Co Chairperson Dr. Shalu Gupta, under expert guidance of national President Dr Gouri Devi and Secretary General Dr Pankaj Talwar.
The conference was well attended by 360 Infertility specialists & Gynecologists from all over Haryana & Delhi NCR. Two hands on workshops ( IUI and Ovum pick- up / Embryo transfer ) along with free paper session were also conducted during conference.
Conference was inaugurated by Dr. Satish Aggarwal ( DGHS Haryana ) & Guest of Honour Dr Smiti Nanda (HOD PGI Medical College Rohtak ) and CMO Dr B.K. Rajora. Chief Guest gave messages about humanity and role of spiritual approach to life.
Academic session is backbone of any conference and our conference was academic bonanza with particiption of almost all national faculty along with international speaker Mr. Jose miravet from Spain to make it rich and satisfying experience for the delegates. It was an honour to have all stalwarts under one roof imparting the pearls of knowledge and wisdom and sharing recent updates & best clinical practices.
Conference started with mesmerising panel discussion on “Azoospermia – What next” by Dr Pankaj Talwar and Dr Priya Varshney. It gave clear guidelines, how to proceed in these males and what all need to be done.
Our international expert Dr Jose Miravat from Spain – unravelled the role of endometrium in successful implantation.
Wonderful panel discussions were conducted on “Ovulation induction- Different Case Scenario” by Dr. Neeru Thakral and Dr Shalu Gupta. The discussion started from basic level to IUI then IVF cases so that every gynaecologist and beginners could understand do’s and don’ts of ovulation induction. Final Key points were highlighted by our expert advisor Dr Sonia Malik in the end.
This was followed by plenary session with guest lecture by Dr Hrishikesh Pai on Testing and Editing of embryo followed by Key Note Address by Dr Alka Kriplani on Adenomyosis & infertility. Entire hall was spell bound by Presidential Oration by Dr Gouri Devi on Vision – Future of ART.
Post lunch video session by Dr Kuldeep Jain and Dr Dinesh Kansal gave insight on Fertility Enhancing surgeries. It was followed by debate on need of the day By Dr Neena Malhotra from AIIMS and Dr Vikas Swarnkar from Jaipur on, whether freeze all for all should be done or not. Dr umesh Jindal from Chandigarh gave insight by her talk on unexplained infertility its management. Dr Sudha Prasad highlighted on Managing ART pregnancies and obstetrical complications. Dr Kuldeep Singh simplified the role of ultrasound in infertility. Lastely the Role play by Dr Ritu Jain, Dr Reema Goel, Dr Meenakshi Dua, Lawyer Miss Radhika Thaper and Expert Dr Abha Majumdar from Gangaram Hospital discussed about managing patients with recurrent implantation failure and medicolegal issues.
IUI hands – On workshop was attend by almost 50 delegates and OPU & ET workshop ( Hands – on simulator ) by 32 delegates. Dr. Shweta Mittal, Dr. Surveen Gumman, Dr Rashmi Sharma, Dr Ila Gupta, , Dr Neeru Thakral, Dr Beeena Muktesh, Dr Veenu Kadian and Mr. R.K. Sehgal guided delegates by giving tips on various steps. CME was awarded by 5 ICOG credit point & 4 Haryana Medical Council credit Hours.

(A) First CME on challenges in infertility along with Installation of new team of IFS Haryana chapter at Galaxy Hotel Gurgaon on 18th July 2018, We had wonderful national faculty Dr.Alka Kriplani mam, Dr. Sonia Malik mam, Dr. K.D.Nayar sir, Dr.Pankaj Talwar (Secreatary IFS) along with Dr.Bharti Dhorepatil from Pune. The CME was attended by 98 Gynecologists and fertility specialist.

(B) Second CME “Updates in Infertility ” was conducted on 12th August 2018 at ROHTAK under the aegis of IFS Haryana Chapter. It was attended by 93 gynecologists and infertility specialists from Rohtak and 8 nearby districts.The entire hall was spell bound by Dr Sonia Malik’s talk on most simple yet most confusing topic ” Tuberculosis and infertility “Wonderful panel discussions were conducted on “Ovulation Induction” by Dr Neeru Thakral and Dr Shalu Gupta and “Endometriosis and infertility ” by Dr Shweta Mittal Gupta and Dr Veenu Kadian with other stalwarts of infertility like Dr KD Nayyar , Dr Sandeep Talwar and Dr Smiti nanda HOD PGI medical college Rohtak & dr Mahendroo HOD Khanpur Medical college ,being part of panel discussions. Another excellent talk on “Assisted Laser Hatching ” by Mr Ram Prakash kept the participants engaged till the end. This academic feast was appreciated by one and all.

“Setting up an ART unit “ CME at MANESAR on 28th October, post karvachauth day was well attended. Almost 71 participants from all over Haryana and Delhi NCR attended the CME. This CME is part of all India initiative undertaken by Indian fertility Society and partnered by Vardhman Medicare. Dr Gouri Devi & Dr Pankaj Talwar are the guiding force and mastermind behind it.
Audience actively participated in discussions and had great interaction with speakers. Recent ICMR guidelines, difference between guidelines and law, do’s and dont’s among gynaecologist were few points discussed in details.
The CME covered all aspects of ART lab from setting to trouble shooting and was well appreciated by all for being precise, to the point and with take home messages
The CME focussed on “ Infertility Solutions for a Gynecologist “. The academic session started with a talk by Dr Sudha Prasad on “ Managing infertility – A Road Map .” The talk received a loud applause from the audience as well as chairpersons. It was a comprehensive overview of infertility management.
The last topic was an interesting panel discussion on “ Ovulation Induction: How can we improve our results ?” moderated by Dr Neeru Thakral and Dr Astha Chakravarty. The panellists were eminent Gynecologist and fertility specialists from Faridabad and Gurgaon. Common case scenarios pertaining to infertility were discussed and the audience actively participate in the discussion.
The CMS was attended by 53 Gynecologist and 2 new members were added to the IFS family.
The academic activity was very much appreciated by the audience.
IFS Haryana chapter we conducted fifth meeting of calendar year on 10th February at Golden Huts Resorts, Rewari.
This fertility update well attended by more than 60 delegates. Update started with comprehensive talk by Dr Sohani Verma on “ Recurrent abortions “. Ouite Interactive Panel on Endometriosis & infertility moderated by Dr shweta Mittal & Dr. Neeru Thakral. Dr umesh jindal from Chandigarh gave Fantastic talk on “Endometrial Receptivity “. Lastly panel on Male infertility by Dr pankaj Talwar. He left no stone unturned in Demystifying Male infertility. Thanks to team IFS Dr Gauri ma’m / Dr pankaj, all expert panelist, chairpersons, ROGS Society& all delegates for making the update and knowledge sharing successful. Meeting was well covered by Press coverage like – Amar Ujala, Danik Bhasker, Danik Jagran. The academic activity was well organized & appreciated by all delegates.
Organised a CME on ‘Updates on Ovulation Induction’ in Jaipur on 26 th May 2019, under the banner of Indian Fertility Society Rajasthan Chapter.
There were 4 talks including two by our guest faculty Dr. K D Nayar Sir (Role of Recombinant LH in Ovarian Stimulation) and Dr. Neeru Thakral Mam (Unexplained Infertility: Endoscopy or IVF), and one-panel discussion on ‘Different situations in ovulation induction moderated by Dr. Neeru Thakral.
Two other talks were taken by myself Dr. Sangita Sharma (Investigations and Evaluation before Ovulation Induction) and Dr. Namita Kotia (individualized Controlled Ovarian Stimulation icos).
It was well appreciated and attended by about 100 delegates. I am sharing a few glimpses for your kind reference.
IFS Nepal Chapter hosted their Annual CME at Pokhara on 29th March 2019. IFS were represented by the treasures Dr. Neena Malhotra prof. AIIMS & Dr. Rita Bakshi – Patron of the IFS Chapter Nepal.
Pokhara has around 50 gynecologists and we are glad to inform our turned out was around 50 with a few doctors from Kathmandu, Butwal and Biratnagar also. In fact according to Pokhara doctors it was a rare day with nearly all doctors except a few on Call/ Duty not attending.

Dr Neela Baheti, Dr Neelam Bapna and Dr Ramdoss Srinivasan chaired the sessions.
There were two talks.
I myself delivered a talk on ‘Trouble Shooting in IVF Lab : Different Case Scenarios’, where everyone gave their inputs.
The second talk was on ‘Evidence on Newer Technologies in IVF Lab’ which was delivered by Dr Rahul K Sen, Senior Embryologist from Vasundhara Fertility and Research Centre, Jodhpur.
It was an interactive CME, well attended and appreciated. About 40 delegates attended it, both clinicians and Embryologists.
This was followed by dinner and distribution of sweets (as it was also a post Holi get together).

Under the aegis of IFS Rajasthan Chapter, a CME was conducted in Jaipur on 29th May, 2018 on “Medicolegal Issues related to Infertility” and “Complications of Fertility Enhancing Endoscopic Surgeries”.
It was well appreciated and well attended by around 80 doctors across Rajasthan.
In the beginning there was a quiz on ‘Infertility and Basic ART’ for the PG students. The three winners of the quiz would be representing Rajasthan in Fertivision 2018 at Kochi.
This was followed by an enlightening talk on ‘Medicolegal Issues related to Infertility’ by Mr. Mahendra Kumar Bajpayee, Advocate , Supreme Court Of India. This was an interactive session with many queries from the audience being addressed.
There was a Panel discussion on ” Complications of Fertility Enhancing Endoscopic Surgeries : Prevention & Management“, which was moderated by Dr. C.P. Dadhich and Dr. Sushila Saini, The panel was a blend of Gynae-Endoscopic surgeons and Senior Laparoscopic General Surgeons. This included interesting video presentations of some laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical complications.

A refresher course for
The executive meeting of Chandigarh chapter of IFS was held during the annual meet the 15th ART update on 2nd and 3rd June 2018 at Forest Hill Resort, Solan, HP by joint efforts of Chandigarh and Himachal IFS chapters. The event was attended by more than 100 delegates and renowned faculty from North India including Delhi.

Annual Report 2017 -2018
ART update was conducted on 27 -28 May at Kasauli , which was a annual conference conducted by Dr Umesh Jindal and Jindal Infertility and IVF clinics. This included a IUI workshop and sessions on PGD endoscopy and dramatized session on Infertility and IVF counseling . This was attended by more than 150 faculty and delegates . Delegates from Himachal , Punjab and Haryana participated in this conference .
SIFCON 2017 was organized under SIG IFS endometriosis on 10th September 2017 at Chandigarh and was attended by more than 290 faculty and Delegates. This was organized by Sodhi clinics under Dr Lavleen Sodhi. Dr Sushma Sinha and Dr Shalini Gainder were the co convenors and chairpersons for the endometriosis group.
Fertivision in December had participation and involvement as faculty from Chandigarh Chapter and 4 papers were presented from this Chapter. The post graduates from PGIMER Chandigarh won the quiz both at first and second prize teaming with delegate from other chapter . Dr Vidhi shared the first prize whereas Dr Garima shared second Prize. Under the aegis of IFS, a CME was conducted in Jaipur on 13th May, 2018 on "Recurrent Pregnancy
Loss" and "Recent Updates on Luteal Phase Support".
It had a wonderful response, was attended by 110 delegates across Rajasthan.
There was a Panel discussion on "Recurrent Pregnancy Loss: Different Case Scenarios", moderated by
Dr. Ruma Satwik from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. The panel was a beautiful combination of
experts from Reproductive Medicine (Dr. Neela Baheti and Dr. Namita Kotia), Genetics & Fetal Medicine
(Dr. Savita Bansal ), Obstetrics (Dr. Kusumlata Meena) and Embryology (Mr. Rahul K Sen).
In the second session, Dr. Sanjay Makwana (Jodhpur) gave a talk on "Recent Advances in Luteal Phase
Support".
This was followed by two debates:
First was on "Luteal Phase Support in TI/IUI cycles":
The second debate was on "Role of Endometrial Scratch in IUI/IVF Cycles"
CME on Challenges in Infertility
Lalita Memorial Hospital, Rewari hosted CME on “Challenges in Infertility” in association with IFS Haryana chapter and ROGS held at Rewari.
It was very informative interactive meet with panel discussion on case scenarios on Ovulation Induction by Dr.Ila Gupta and optimising IUI results by Dr.Kuldeep Jain.
Sessions were attended by over 73 enthusiastic participants with most informative discussion.
Follicular monitoring by Dr. Bharti Jain was a complete update on ultrasound in infertility.
Luteal phase support by Dr.K.D Nayar and Lecture by Dr.Sudha Prasad on IVF/IUI consent as per ICMR guidelines.
To add feather in the cap of the meeting was lecture by Prof.Dr.Shakuntla Chhabra from Sevagram wardha.
This was a complete academic feast with wonderful sessions.

The activities for the year 2016-17 started with two days CME on Fetal medicine at Kozhikode, Kerala. First day was workshop on anomaly and growth scans. Dr KD Nayar spoke on Gestational Diabetes & Fetus. Dr Chander Lulla(Mumbai), Dr Vijyaraghavan(Coimbatore) were also faculty. 240 delegates attended the conference
PCO & Fertility issues were adapted as theme for the year and conducted CME programs based on the theme at Kozhikode, Thrissur, Kasargod, Kannur and Kollam. This was organized as programs of IFS Special Interest Group(SIG) on PCOS. Each CME were attended by 100-120 delegates.
Adolescent health awareness programs were conducted for plus two girls and professional college students as a part of IFS –PCO SIG activity in 23 institutions. Each session was attended by more than 500 students and classes were taken by IFS members and Nursing college teachers.
Also, organized IUI workshops at Theni, Tamil Nadu in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Chapter of IFS.
Organized a ‘Hands on workshop on Sperm processing for IUI’as a part of National Conference of IMA AMS, AMSCON 2017 at Kozhikode on 19th August 2017. IMA National Secretary Dr Tandon Inaugurated the workshop. Dr Sunil Nayar and Dr Feseena Seethi demonstrated the sperm processing procedures and lead the workshop. Training was 25 selected doctors. Dr Kunjimoideen, Dr Venugopal, Dr Sreeja, Dr Feseena, Dr Vasundhara, Dr Jitha and Dr Shyjus spoke on various aspects of Ovulation Induction and Seminology.
Greetings from IFS UP Chapter. A Summit on Reproductive Endocrinology was held on 13th August 2017 at Hotel Madin, Varanasi under the ages of IFS UP Chapter & VOGS, which was attended by over 270 Gynecologists. Welcome address by Dr. Ritu Khanna. Dr. Sonia Malik, Dr. Sudha Prasad, Dr. K.D. Nayar, Dr. Sonal Panchal, Dr. C.B. Nagori, Dr. Kiran Pandey, Dr. Tusharkar were the key speakers. Dr. Chandravati, Dr. P. Tiwari, Dr. Indrasah, Dr. Rajbaweja, Dr. Vinita Agnihotri also graced the Inaugural ceremony.
Interactive case based panel discussion on “Hormonal interplay and the best options in the crucial phase of implantation- The Luteal Phase ” was also part of the session.

The 11th Annual National Conference of Indian Fertility society, Fertivision 2015 on “Technology Innovation & Ethics” in Hotel Ashok, New Delhi on 4th, 5th & 6th December, 2015.
The conference was preceded by 7 Pre-congress Courses.
Fifteen International Faculty was 15 & National faculty was 183 participated.
More than 1000 delegates attended.
The IVF & Reproductive Biology Centre under the aegis of IFS &AOGD organized a CME & Video Session on Enhancing skills in Infertility on Sunday, 15th March, 2015 at the MAMC Auditorium, Maulana Azad College, New Delhi.
The morning session was followed by the the anniversary celebration of all the babies who were conceived by ART at our centre. There are over 171 children and most could attend with their parents. The CME was inaugurated by Dr. Deepak K Tempe, Dean, Maulana Azad College, New Delhi. Dr A.K. Aggarwal, ADG, Health Services and former Dean, Maulana Azad College, New Delhi was the guest of honour.
There were 47 registered delegates and 11 invited faculty who participated in the day’s deliberations. Video sessions covered common problems in infertility management like endometriosis, fibroids, and hydrosalpinx. The focus was on minimally invasive surgery to have the best possible reproductive results. Dr S. Prasad, Dir-Professor & Head, Dept of Obs. & Gynae. and co-ordinator IVF & Reproductive Biology Centre, MAMC talked in length about the ease and difficulties of running an IVF centre in public sector. Also discussed were various options to preserve fertility prior to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The CME was very interactive with active participation of delegates and the faculty.
Hands on IUI Workshop on 4th April 2015 organised by Reproductive Medicine Unit at Artemis Hospital Auditorium , Gurgaon under the Aegis of IFS.
The CME was attended by 46 delegates,and all aspects of IUI along with ICMR Guidelines discussed in detail.
Release of good clinical practice guideline on PCOS by IFS at PCOS Summit.
Delhi 8th March on International women’s day, the Indian Fertility Society released its Good clinical practice guidelines on the management of PCOS in India to a house full of gynaecologists. This has been published in the society’s journal Journal of Fertility Science and Research. On the 9 th March, a similar function was organised at Kolkata. The functions were graced by Dr Jaideep Malhotra President ASPIRE at Delhi and Dr BN Chakravarti at Kolkata.
The Bihar chapter of Indian Fertility Society was inaugurated on 31st May, 2015 at Hotel Patliputra Ashok, Patna. Inaugurating the chapter, President, IFS, Dr.Sonia Malik said that Indian Fertility Society aims at updating the skills and standards of Infertility management across India. Dr. Sudha Prasad, Secretary General, IFS informed that it is the eleventh branch of Indian Fertility Society and presented the details of various society activities. Dr. Anita Singh, Founder Secretary of Bihar Chapter welcomed the guests and introduced its thirty members including eminent IVF specialists of Bihar. On this occasion, Dr. Kalpana Singh and Dr. Supriya Jaiswal were installed as Joint Secretary and Treasurer of the Bihar Chapter while Dr. Neelam, Dr. Amita Sinha, Dr. Kavita Barnwal, Dr. Amita Narayan, Dr. Neelu Prasad, Dr. Ranjana Sinha and Dr. Shipra Roy were elected as council members. All the eminent gynaecologists of Patna including Dr. Sharda Sahay, Dr. Shanti Roy, Dr. Manju Gita Mishra, Dr. Pramila Modi, Dr. Kusum Gopal Kapoor, Dr. Pramila Modi, Dr. Shanti Singh, Dr. Dharamsheela Sharma, Dr. Kumkum Sinha, Dr. Reeta Dayal, Dr. Renu Rohatgi, Dr. Usha Didwania , Dr. Abha Rani Sinha, Dr. Himanshu Roy, Dr. Pragya Mishra Chaudhary and many members of POGS were present to mark the occasion.
Following inauguration, the 1st CME Programme of IFS Bihar chapter was also held in the same meeting. Dr. Sudha Prasad, Secretary General, IFS, presented a talk on “Infertility Management – an Overview” and Dr. Sushma Sinha, Joint Secretary, IFS elaborated on “Role of DHEA in Infertility Management”. Dr. Shanti Roy and Dr. Manju Gita Mishra, Eminent Gynaecologists of Patna chaired the session. Dr. Sonia Malik moderated a grand panel discussion on “Infertile Couple – Strategic Approach” in which four cases of infertility were discussed. Dr. Sudha Pasad, Dr.Sushma Singh, Dr. Pratibha Singh, Dr.Kavita Barnwal, Dr. Shipra Roy, Dr. Prachi Singh participated as panelists in a very lively and interactive discussion. Around 70 Gynaecologists of Bihar attended the function to mark it as a grand success.
CME on “Dilemmas in Infertility” organized by Dr Surveen Ghumman under aegis of IFS and AOGD infertility committee on 26th August at Hotel Vikram. It was attended by 70 delegates. Dr Sonia Malik, the national president of IFS, inaugurated the Kerala state chapter of the Indian Fertility Society on 18th September at Kochi. The function was held at Hotel Corwne Plaza, Kochi.
Dr Sonia Malik inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Dr Venugopal, the Joint secretary of the state chapter welcomed the gathering. Dr K.U.Kunjimoideen, the Secretary of the chapter talked about the need of the state chapter and its importance. He has declared the list of executive members and treasurer ho were nominated from among the life members. Dr Sonia Malik, the national president described about the aims and objectives of the IFS during the inaugural speech and also the future plans of IFS. Dr Gouri Devi, the national Vice President and Dr Pankaj Talwar made the felicitation speech. Dr parasuram Gopinath expressed the vote of thanks.
The inauguration was followed by a Panel discussion on ‘How to improve the results in ART?’. Dr Sonia Malik and Dr Gouri Devi moderated the discussion. Dr Mridubashini(Coimbatore), Dr Mohan Kamath(CMC Vellore), Dr . K.K.Gopinathan(Kerala), Dr Mohammed Ashraf(Kerala), Dr Sathi M Pillai (Kerala) and Dr Sujatha Ramkrishnan (Chennai) were the panel members. The session was followed by an excellent audience interaction.
2. Hands on Workshop on ‘Enhancing Success in Intra uterine insemination’ and Live demonstration of ICSI held at Kozhikode on 15th November 2015. Prof.V.K.Chellamma, Hon President Kerala Federation of O&G inaugurated the event. Dr Shweta Mittal represented the national IFS and spoke on Ovulation Induction strategies in IUI cycles. Dr.Kunjimoideen, Dr Venugopal, Dr Sreeja, Dr Vasundhara , Dr Sunil Nayar, Dr Feseena and Dr Jitha were faculties. Dr Sunil and Dr Feseena laed the workshop and demonstrated the ICSI procedure which was live telecasred from IVF lab. 41 delegates participated in the event. State Medical Council awarded the program with 2 hours of CME credit points.
3. Membership campaign: The chapter has initiated a membership campaign for the specialists practicing reproductive medicine in the state of Kerala. 10 new members have joint apart from the 20 founder members. The campaign will be a yearlong campaign, which is integrated with the district level half-day CME programs

2nd Clinical Meeting and a CME on Basics of FertilityManagement was organized on 14 August 2015 at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr Neelam spoke on “Evaluation of female partner” while Current Advances in individualized stimulation Protocol was discussed by Dr Himanshu Roy. Dr Neeta Singh spoke on “Journey of an embryo from tube to womb” .Dr Sudha Prasad delivered a lecture of Luteal support in IUI. In post lunch session Dr. Rajeev Sood emphasized on “What a gynecologist must know about male partner evaluation”. Dr Himanshu Roy Showed videos of different techniques of Sperm wash.
Clinical Meeting/ Seminar was organized on 19th July 2015 at IGIMS on “Ovarian Reserve”. Dr Kalpana Singh was the speaker and approximate 20 people participated. Another seminar was organized on 31st Oct 2015 0n “Progestins” at IGIMS and on 7 th Nov 2015’ Stress & immune modulater’ was discussed at IGIMS.

The Fourth was CME on Frontiers of ART improving pregnancy rates on 26th April, 2015 at Hotel Shivoy , Gorakhpur attended by 90 gynecologists. Organized by IFS UP Chapter in association & Gorakhpur Obstetrics & Gynaecology society . The rattling tremors of the earth quake were experienced during the session inspite of which the enthusiasm of delegates let the session to move.
The Third was CME Infertility Update 2015 on 22nd March, 2015 at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences , Bareilly. Attended by 150 gynecologists. Organized by IFS UP Chapter in association & Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly.
The Second was Webnair Hope of Profertility on 21st March, 2015 at Hotel Landmark , Kanpur attended by 74 senior gynecologists of the city. Organized by IFS UP Chapter in association & Kanpur Obst & Gynaec Society.
Under the guidance of Patron Dr. Chandrawati & Leadership of former Secretary Dr Madhu Loomba & present Secretary Dr Ritu Khanna & helping hand of Treasurer Dr Malvika Mishra a number of activities were energetically carried out by members of IFS UP Chapter with active participation by delegates.
