Dear All,
Applications are invited for the following post for the year 2018-2020.
Please find enclosed the nomination form for the same.

1 Post – President Elect
2 Posts – Vice President
1 Post – Hon. Secretary General
1 Post – Hon. Joint Secretary
1 Post – Treasurer
1 Post – Joint Treasurer
1 Post – Hon. Editor
1 Post – Hon. Joint Editor
3 Posts     –           Executive Members from Delhi(Vacancies in lieu of
Dr Gita Radhakrishnan, Dr Neeta Singh, Dr Shweta Mittal)

Governing Council Members: Maximum of 2 terms of 2 year each for one capacity.
18 Chapter Secretaries + 18 Executive Members from Delhi including office bearers.
 
Executive Members : Who have completed 2 year term will have to be renominated for the 2^nd term (2018-2020).
Executive Members : Who have completed 4 year term can either opt for any Office Bearer post or seek renomination as a special case or withdraw. The Founder Member will be taken as Executive Advisor
 
All chapter secretaries who will complete 2 year in office must initiate the process of Nomination / Elections simultaneously with this notification so as to complete the installation of new team simultaneously. They will also send the copy of nomination form to undersigned. Only newly Nominated / Elected Chapter secretary will be included in the governing council.
 

• 3 Chapter Secretaries Dr Jayesh Amin, Dr Uma Shrivastava, Dr Mujibur Rehman are from new Chapters, their first term will start from 1.04.2018 to 31.03.2020
• 12 Chapter Secretaries will finish 1^st term of 2 years on 31.03.2018 and need to be renominated / reelected.
• 3 Chapter secretaries will finish their 2^nd term of 2 years on 31.03.2018 and new secretaries have to elected before 01.04.2018.

  • Dr Manoj Chellani – IFS Chattisgarh Chapter
  • Dr Randhir Singh – IFS Madhya.Pradesh Chapter

 
Minimum Requirements:

• For office Bearer – Minimum 5 yrs in governing council For President elect & General Secretary

3 proposers & 3 secondars
For other posts – 2 Proposers & 2 Secondars are required
 

• For Governing Council Membership– Minimum 5 yrs of Primary life membership
• Existing governing council members renominations – 2 proposers & 2 Seconders from governing council.

For new governing council membership 5 proposers from governing council & 5 seconders from governing council / general body.
 

• For chapter representative: to be on the governing council or to contest for a post at national level, a member must have served in the executive of a chapter at least for 5 yrs.
• Can hold only one post either at National Level / or chapter level.

• Co-opted Members & Executive Advisors- No Voting Right
• Executive Advisors- Founder Members who have completed 4 year terms in any capacity.

For co-opted Members – 5 proposers from governing council & 5 seconders from governing council / general body, along with details of contribution to society & / or Reproductive medicine.
 
 
Important Dates

• Date of notification : 24^th Jan 2018
• Last Date for filing Nomination : 23^rd Feb 2018
• Withdrawal of Nomination – 3^rd March 2018
• Election if any by postal ballot to be completed – 20^th March 2018
• Declaration of new team – 28^th March 2018
